Top 10 moments from 'NCIS: Los Angeles:' 'The Long Goodbye'

Last night’s NCIS: Los Angeles took the place of a previously scheduled episode due to the tragic events in Paris. At first, there was concern this would potentially mess with the upcoming plotline involving Marty Deeks that we were expecting to see begin to play out this week. However, after watching the episode, it’s clear that besides the fact that we know he is back at work, we don’t know what became of the IA investigation, so the episode works as a fill-in for next week’s episode.

Tonight, we saw the return of Jada Khaled, a woman Sam had been attempting to help while undercover, but ended up becoming too emotionally involved. She has not been happy with NCIS ever since and now she is on her way to witness protection after testifying against her brother. However, when she is ambushed, she disappears, and the team has to try to find her and discover who ordered her kidnapping.

After one of the men is wounded, Sam interrogates him to find out more who is behind the plot while Agent Talia Del Campo comes on the scene, as she was working undercover to identify a man named Alex Molina. Kensi works with her while Callen and Deeks work together to solve the case.

It was a neat episode to watch and tied into Sam’s past actions during his work and what happens when the case is over and the people involved are left to themselves. Let’s look at some of the moments that made up this episode “The Long Goodbye.”
