‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Mad Men,’ ‘Inside Amy Schumer,’ ‘Transparent’ score Producers Guild TV nominations

The nominations for the Producers Guild of America’s television awards were announced today. Most of the major networks were shut out of the top two categories.

The guild also made sure to honor a different batch of shows. Variety notes that Orange is the New Black and Fargo both missed out on nominations. Amazingly, most of the major networks were shut out, as ABC’s Modern Family was the only broadcast show nominated in either the comedy or drama categories.

The awards also overlap in many areas with the Writers Guild of America’s nominations. However, while the WGA nominated Mr. Robot and The Americans for Drama Series, the PGA went with House of Cards and Homeland.
