Helen Mirren in talks to join Will Smith in ‘Collateral Beauty’

Will Smith is already attached to the project, Collateral Beauty. If his name wasn't enough, now he has another A-List actress to join him.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Helen Mirren is in talks to join Smith in the film. David Frankel is the director, and Smith will play an advertising executive who falls from grace after a tragedy. After the tragedy, his coworkers come with an odd plan to cheer him up.

That is where Mirren comes in. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mirren will play an actor who is hired to bring Smith back to his feet.

In 2006 Mirren won an Oscar for her work in The Queen. Before seeing her in Collateral Beauty, she can be seen alongside Bryan Cranston in Trumbo. As for Smith, he will be in the NFL drama called Concussion and Suicide Squad.

The film itself has gone through some changes early in development. Smith replaced Hugh Jackman who had to leave due to scheduling, and Frankel replaced Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.
