Pamela Anderson joins Miley Cyrus onstage to help promote animal rights

Miley Cyrus’ show in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on Saturday night featured some additional star power from fellow animal activist, Pamela Anderson, who joined the singer onstage to promote the fair treatment of whales.

Anderson joined the “Wrecking Ball’ singer by holding up a sign that read "Save the whales," and "no captivity” was written on her leg.

This was the final stop on Cyrus’ Dead Petz tour with the Flaming Lips.

Huffington Post reports for those thinking Cyrus and Anderson, a big supporter of PETA, is an odd pairing, they actually have a lot in common in terms of what the causes they help promote.

They’re both strong supporters of the LGBT community and champion animal rights. They’ve also both starred in their own campaigns to benefit HIV/AIDS awareness for MAC Cosmetics' Viva Glam line.
