Nick Carter sued by Key West bouncer after battery arrest

Following Nick Carter’s Key West, Fla. arrest for misdemeanor battery, he’s facing a lawsuit from the bouncer at Hog's Breath Saloon.

As we previously reported, Carter was arrested on the battery charge earlier this month after getting into a fight at the bar.

TMZ reports the bouncer, Skylar Carden, has sued the Backstreet Boys singer for allegedly attacking and choking him. Sources say Carter got so aggressive that he squeezed Carden's larynx.

Carden claimed in the lawsuit he first kicked Carter out for being "unruly and disrespectful,” but once outside the bar he started "striking and choking" Carden for no apparent reason. The bouncer's lawyer claimed his client has suffered mental anguish and pain after the attack, calling Carter a "Backstreet thug."

Carter is currently expecting his first child with wife Lauren Kitt.
