Massachusetts judge rules Bill Cosby's wife Camille will have to testify during civil suit

Massachusetts judge Mark G. Mastroianni has ruled that Bill Cosby’s wife of over 50 years, Camille Cosby, will have to give a deposition in his civil lawsuit seven women filed against him.

Camille filed an emergency motion last month to delay the deposition after the Massachusetts court denied a motion from her attorneys requesting that she not be forced to testify in a defamation suit against her husband.

Although Camille will have to testify, she doesn’t have to answer any questions about her marriage.

"Critically important decision by the court today, agreeing with Mrs. Cosby's appellate argument, affirming the confidential nature of and protection afforded to marital communications," her attorneys told ABC News.

Bill Cosby has countersued the seven women who have accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting them.
