Taryn Manning feels Brittany Murphy's presence while DJing

Taryn Manning was DJing in Toronto when she dedicated a set to best friend and co-star, Brittany Murphy, causing the whole system to temporarily shut down.

Manning acknowledged the technical difficulty as a visit from Murphy or her presence. In a video from her DJing set posted by TMZ, Manning can be heard saying, "Brittany's in the house... That was one of my best friends and we lost her over terrible, terrible things, and I think she just wanted a moment of silence right now." Murphy died in 2009.

Manning was in the middle of playing the song "Lose Yourself" at an H&M event when it all occurred. Both Manning and Murphy starred in the film 8 Mile from which the song is from, making the event even more interesting.

People reported that at a Vanity Fair and L'Oreal Paris event on Feb. 26, Manning spoke of the event stating, "I was playing there for about an hour and everything was going smoothly... I always shout out people that I miss that have died. [I] put my fader down and gave it up to Brittany and then everything went dead. Nobody tripped over a chord or anything. It was very bizarre."
