'Wheel of Fortune' star Vanna White regrets doing Plaboy, says she was on the cover against her wishes

Wheel of Fortune star Vanna White is opening up about her regrets over being on the cover of Playboy, telling Wendy Williams she was actually put on the cover against her wishes.

While on The Wendy Williams Show on Feb. 10, White told the talk show host she did a series of lingerie shoots and Hugh Hefner bought some of the shots.

"Hugh was my friend and he said, 'Vanna, we are going to put you on the cover,'” she explained. “I said, 'If you put me on the cover, my career could be ruined,' and they did it anyway.”

“I don't talk to him, I feel bad, it was a long time ago but that really hurt my feelings,” she added.

White continued to say she’s grateful for anyone who supported her after the cover came out in 1987, urging everyone to follow their gut when making decisions.

“Don't ever do anything that you think is wrong, listen to that little voice inside of you,” she said. “I wish I wouldn't have done it and I did it."
