Will Smith reveals third installment to 'Bad Boys' is a possibility

Will Smith gave an interview to BBC Radio 1Xtra and he revealed some information about the possible third installment to Bad Boys, which he starred in with Martin Lawrence.

In the interview, Smith revealed some information on not only the movie, but parenting his children and the reason he did not return to the Independence Day sequel.

As previously reported, the possibility of a Bad Boys 3 has been in the works and Lawrence had said before he felt sure that Smith would come back to be a part of it.

According to Smith, a Bad Boys 3 was said to be "definitely happening" and he also said because of the films Suicide Squad and Concussion, he had to decide between the former as well as Independence Day.

He mentioned how there is a sense of nostalgia nowadays, especially “in entertainment, there’s such a pull for nostalgia. So, it was just the perfect opportunity and it didn’t work out.”

Smith revealed that after recently meeting with Lawrence for the first time in two years, they both had a feeling a Bad Boys 3 had to happen. “And we just looked at each other. And we hugged. And in that moment, we both knew we were making another Bad Boys.”
