Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively attend Canada State Dinner at the White House

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively made quite an appearance while attending the Canada State Dinner at the White House, hosted by President Barack Obama on March 10.

Reynolds, 39, wore a Burberry midnight blue suit with a white bow tie. Lively, 28, wore a silk silver Ralph & Russo dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, her hair in a Serena van der Woodsen-esque hairstyle, reported Style News. Both outfits complimented well with each other, making the couple look stunning while walking down the halls of the White House.

Even though Lively's dress looked perfect on her, there was a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. Due to its high-thigh cut, it showed a little piece of spandex going down her thigh while she was walking, according to Daily Mail UK. Lively just gave birth to the couple's daughter, James, about 15 months ago. Despite the minor incident with the dress's slit, she still looked fabulous in it.

The event was in honor of the new prime minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau. Reynolds, who is Canadian, was very excited to meet him. He posted a photo on Instagram of the two talking.

With Reynolds' latest film, Deadpool, grossing up to $135 million within its first three days, it's no wonder he looked so happy. The movie also became the biggest R-rated opening, surpassing The Matrix Reloaded, which made $91.8 million in May 2003.

Some other Canadian-born stars in attendance were Mike Myers, Michael J. Fox and Sandra Oh, noted Style News.
