CNN’s Anderson Cooper, MSNBC’s Michael Steele and 60 Minutes correspondent Lara Logan may be three very smart individuals who are knowledgeable about a variety of topics, just not in the sports department.
During an appearance on Jeopardy, the three journalists proved that they did not watch the Super Bowl last February when none of them could could come up with an answer for “The Carolina Panther who was the first NFL rookie to pass for over 4,000 yards.”
After a moment Logan shook her head and said, “We don’t do sports.”
Host Alex Trebek then gave them the answer and in hopes of toning down some of the embarrassment, the contestants acted as if they knew that answer all along and had a clue who the NFL MVP was.
