Chris Darden says ‘The People v. OJ Simpson' miniseries was inaccurate (Video)

The recent FX miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story about the “Trial of the Century,” drew praise from critics and viewers alike. However, at least one person involved in the trial and portrayed in the series had no interest in tuning in.

While appearing on the Today show Monday, Darden, who was prosecutor in the Simpson case, said he never watched the miniseries because he knew it would be inaccurate.

"I lived through it. I knew the series would not be accurate and I couldn't see any reason why I would watch it," he said.

He admitted that he would see things about the show from time to time on social media, but decided it was best to ignore it.

His character was played by Sterling K. Brown and something the show touched on was a possible romance between himself and fellow prosecutor Marcia Clark. Rumors that they were romantically involved have been around for years, but neither of them have ever confirmed that to be true.

When asked about that very subject Darden said, "I'll wait until Marcia is setting next to me to talk about it in greater detail,” adding, “If I were to say that I had a relationship with Marcia Clark, people would say we lost the case because we were more interested in intimacy than in the law and the facts.”
