Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ album has gone platinum

Things have been going good for Queen Bey lately. She is currently on her successful ‘Formation’ tour, recently won an award for being a style icon and now her latest album just went platinum.

On Wednesday, RIAA announced on its Twitter page that Beyoncé’s Lemonade album, which sparked speculation about who “Becky” was after its release in April, has officially gone platinum.

The tweet also noted that now all of the singer’s six albums have been certified platinum.

Lemonade hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart after it was released on April 23.

Beyoncé  took a break from her tour to attend the CFDA Awards on June 6 where she accepted the Fashion Icon Award.
