Joseph Gordon-Levitt takes heat in 'Snowden' trailer

Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden in the trailer for Oliver Stone's Snowden.

The trailer debuted at Comic-Con on Thursday, July 21, where a panel for the film was held.

Stone was on hand for the panel and mentioned how Pokémon Go is a danger.

"They are data mining every person in this room," Stone said at the panel according to Variety with Stone adding that it's referred to as "surveillance capitalism." People were allowing the app complete permission to their Google accounts before the developer put that to rest.

Snowden stars Levitt, Shailene Woodley (Divergent, The Fault in Our Stars), Melissa Leo (The Fighter, The Big Short), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, American Horror Story), Tom Wilkinson (Michael Clayton, John Adams), Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad, Fast 8), Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man) and the star of films like the National Treasure movies, Nicholas Cage.

Levitt was recently seen in The Walk and The Night Before. Stone, best known for directing films like Natural Born Killers, Platoon and Wall Street, recently put out 2012's Savages starring Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Blake Lively and John Travolta.
