‘Big Brother 18’ recap: ‘Zingbot returns and a houseguest’s emotional roller coaster continues’

Day 59 in the house and The Executives are officially over. Victor (and most of the house) want Paulie out this week. Paulie is completely crushed and calls out the former members of his alliance. They all go back and forth and Victor and Paulie trade verbal jabs while Paul tries to be the voice of reason and say eventually in the game this would happen. Paul admits to Paulie he didn’t know this would happen (but of course he did). It looks like P/P is done. They won’t be this year’s Detonators.

Paulie’s emotional ride continues as he accepts that he is alone in the house. He is rising in the ranks of the HG that has cried the most this season. Paulie even hints to Corey if he wins POV he would use it on him. Corey tells him he better not. Paulie tries to #KeepItTogether and it is pretty ironic that Paulie went from dominating the house to the main target. HOH Victor, nominees Paulie & Corey, Paul, Nicole and James will play in this week’s POV competition. (I laughed when Paulie asked Meech to save him and she straight up said no).

Paul suggests that the majority of the house call out Paulie and try to rattle him before the POV competition. Paul fires the first shot after glaring at him and is pissed that Paulie didn’t trust him. Big Meech chimes in about blowing up his game and how he will never be like Derrick or Cody from BB16. Ouch. James then comes at him about the comments he made towards Natalie who chimes in about how offended she was. Paulie is getting it from all angles. I think he knows what the house is doing.

The house is enjoying nap time when a Big Brother staple Zingbot returns! He zings all the HG including my favorites which were Nicole ruining her game because of a showmance, Paulie being a “poor man’s Cody” and telling Paul his new phrase should be to "shut the f**k up.” These made me laugh.

The POV Competition ties into the fact that Zingbot is apparently running for president. Each HG launches a bean bag onto a board with different numbered electoral votes. The HG with the lowest score at the end of each round is eliminated and chooses a campaign prize. It basically means the last person standing will take the POV. Paul and Nicole exit the first two rounds and Paul ends up with the secret service prize. Corey and Paulie are the next two out (which makes Victor ecstatic) and means that the nominations will more than likely stay the same. Victor wins the POV and what sweet revenge this is for Victor since Paulie was the one behind evicting him. Paulie feels completely defeated and feels like he has no fight left. That emotional roller coaster just keeps going.

James won $5,000 during the veto competition and Corey has to wear a patriot unitard. Nicole obviously loves it. Paul’s is the best. He is the secret service of the house and anytime he hears the red alert sound he must pat down the HG and clear five checkpoints around the house. This is perfect for “Your Boy.” We then go back to the emotional roller coaster as Paulie starts his punishment which is baking apple pies. He then starts to get upset and it becomes awkward and Paul/Natalie comfort him. Natalie is such a beautiful person and even after everything Paulie said, she is compassionate towards him. She is definitely one of my favorites in the house.

We are going to have another predictable Veto Meeting but we get a bit of humor as Paul has to perform his secret service duties. We then get back to serious as Victor gives his speech right at Paulie and tells him that “he can forgive but he can’t forget.” Victor doesn’t use the POV as this means Paulie’s game is about as good as done. The only way he can stay is by a miracle or if he has the round trip ticket. That would shake up the game DRAMATICALLY.

Who will be evicted from the Big Brother house… Paulie or Corey?

Tune in Thursday night at 9 p.m. on CBS to find out!
