Tyrese Gibson responds to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson's Instagram rant

One of his Fast 8 co-stars ticked Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson off and he let the world know it via Instagram and now fellow cast member Tyrese Gibson wants you to know it wasn’t him.

When the man known as one of the nicest guys in Hollywood goes on a public rant slamming his co-stars it’s big news and that is exactly what Johnson did on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

The actor took to Instagram to let fans know that the crew was in their final week of shooting the eighth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise and went after his “male co-stars” in the post.

“My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story,” Johnson wrote. “Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.”

This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right. Bottom line is it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part????. Final week on FAST 8 and I'll finish strong. #IcemanCometh #F8 #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses

Immediately after that diss, the wheels of the rumor mill started to turn as fans tried to figure out who he was referring to. All of his male co-stars? Some of them? Or just one?

Whoever he was talking about Gibson is confident that it wasn’t him and took to Instagram himself to prove it.

"Why are you guys so impressionable? A man wouldn't be singing from his heart and soul to another mans little angel if he had a problem with her dad," he wrote.

However, Gibson later deleted that post which leaves us with more questions like is this real beef or a publicity stunt to drum up some talk about their upcoming film?
