John Cena to host Nickelodeon's 2017 Kids' Choice Awards

WWE Superstar and actor John Cena is set to host Nickelodeon's 2017 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, March 11, live from USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles.

The KCAs are the only live event where kids can vote and today's stars are slimed from head to toe.  The KCAs will celebrate kids’ favorites from movies to television to music and more!

This marks the first time Cena is hosting the awards show, despite having hosted Australia’s Kids’ Choice Awards in 2008 and being slimed at the first U.K. Kids’ Choice Awards.

Shelly Sumpter Gillyard, Senior Vice President of Talent and Events for Nickelodeon, had this to say about the future host: “John Cena's energy and larger-than-life personality will bring the most excitement, comedy and fun to this year's Kids’ Choice Awards.  He's a big kid at heart, and we can’t wait to give kids around the world a front row seat to this year’s show.”

Make sure to catch the Kids' Choice Awards on March 11 on Nickelodeon at 8 p.m.!
