CBS releases fall 2017 schedule

CBS has revealed it’s prime time lineup for this year’s fall season, introducing eight brand new shows alongside 23 returning ones.

Young Sheldon, the spin-off of the beloved sitcom The Big Bang Theory, will debut on Monday, Sept. 25 following the debut of season 11 of The Big Bang TheoryYoung Sheldon will then move to Thursday nights for the remainder of the season.

Season 2 of the hit new sitcom Kevin Can Wait will also air on Monday nights along with Me Myself & I, 9JKL and Scorpion.

CBS is bringing back it’s drama-filled Tuesdays evenings with NCIS, Bull and NCIS: New Orleans.

The long-running reality series Survivor will kick off Wednesday nights followed by the new military drama Seal Team and the 13th season of Criminal Minds.

CBS will be hosting NFL Thursday Night Football until Nov. 2, at which time NBC will then take over. Following this switch, CBS will begin a normal prime time schedule consisting of The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Mom, Life in Pieces and the brand new drama starring Shemar Moore, S.W.A.T.

Fridays will remain unchanged, airing new seasons of MacGyver, Hawaii 5-0 and Blue Bloods. Likewise, Saturdays will also be unaffected, airing the usual Crimetime Saturday and 48 Hours.

The new drama Wisdom of the Crowd lands on Sunday night following 60 Minutes, which will be entering it’s 50th year.
