DC

7. The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

“You think darkness is your ally.”

Forget the haters. While The Dark Knight Rises may be the weakest of the three in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, the film still has a lot to offer. Drawing inspiration from Frank Miller’s groundbreaking graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns, The Dark Knight Rises is a fitting finale for this take on Bruce Wayne. Yeah, the way Bane goes out is somewhat unsatisfying and the twist on Marion Cotillard’s character was unnecessary, but let’s just all remember that spectacular scene when Batman gets his back broken.
