1. They met at an open-mike night

Talk about a chance encounter. Russell and Johnson first met in 2009 during an open-mike event being held at Seattle’s Conor Byrne Pub. They decide to team up, and eventually brought pianist Kenny Hensley, bassist Chris Zasche, violinist Charity Rose Thielen and drummer Tyler Williams on to the crew throughout the following months after their meeting.

Now, the band has a wide number of fans and recognizable sound, one that’s perfect for rainy Sunday afternoons.
