Ever since Selma, Ava Duvernay has become a vocal and recognized voice for both feminist and African-American rights — something she’s very passionate about and can communicate well. This March, however, we’re about to see a whole different side to her talents, as she’s taking on the big-budgeted A Wrinkle in Time for Disney. If that goes well, we can all start campaigning for her to be given a Star Wars film next.
