Joanna Krupa is a model and actress best known for her appearances on Dancing with the Stars and The Real Housewives of Miami. She was born on April 23, 1979 in Warsaw, Poland, but moved to the U.S. with her family when she was five.

Her modeling career has put her on the covers of magazines such as Shape, Inside Sport, and Maxim, which ranked her as #55 in 2011 on its “Hot 100” list of the world’s hottest women.

In 2009, Krupa competed on the show Dancing with the Stars with partner Derek Hough, but was eliminated on Nov. 17 of that year.

She now hosts and serves as a judge on Poland’s Next Top Model, a gig that she began in autumn 2010.

Krupa is also a new cast member, along with her sister Marta, on the show The Real Housewives of Miami, which premiered on Sept. 13, 2012.
