Justin Timberlake allows fans to take part in 'Take Back the Night' video reveal

Justin Timberlake debuted his “Take Back the Night” music video and he got his fans involved in it on Twitter. The single is the first from the singer’s The 20/20 Experience -2 of 2 album, which comes out in September.

He told his fans yesterday, “The #TakeBackTN video is out tomorrow! Be part of the reveal!” asking them to get the hashtag trending on Twitter as well.

According to MTV News, Timberlake’s fans were able to unlock the full video by joining the interactive hashtag campaign with behind-the-scenes content by Stipple.

His rep said it will take fans "on a fun, virtual journey throughout New York City, from the legendary Yankee Stadium to historic locales in Chinatown and unlock secrets of the video by touching images to gain fun facts and expand the experience on the making of the ."

The Huffington Post reports the video is shot in New York, everywhere from Times Square to his recent tour stop in the city with Jay-Z.

After fans unlocked the video, it premiered on Tuesday.

The video has been posted to his website.
