Born Lindsay Dee Lohan, Lindsay Morgan Lohan is an American actress, model, and recording artist.
Lohan began her career at the age of three as a child fashion model. She then took on the acting world at the age of 10 on the soap opera, Another World.
Lohan made her motion picture debut with Disney’s remake of The Parent Trap. This was a commercial hit. Lohan played both parts for the movie’s twins, Hailey and Annie, with the use of computer magic. Another one of her hit Disney’s remakes was Freaky Friday featuring Jamie Lee Curtis and Chad Michael Murray.
In 2004, Lohan starred alongside Rachel McAdams in the commercial success, Mean Girls.
Also in 2004, Lohan released her debut studio album, Speak. It went certified platinum.
In 2006, Lohan attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. In May 2007, Lohan was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Lohan entered the Promises Treatment Center rehabilitation facility where she stayed for 45 days. When she was released, Lohan voluntarily wore a SCRAM bracelet to monitor her sobriety.
In July 2007, Lohan was arrested again on charges of possession of cocaine and driving under the influence on a suspended license. She was sentenced to one day in jail and given three years of probation.
Unfortunately, Lohan’s misfortune does not stop there. In September 2010, Lohan’s probation was revoked after she failed a drug test. She spent part of the day in jail before she was released on bail. Following that, she entered the Betty Ford Center for drug and alcohol treatment. She stayed there for 3 months on court order. In February 2011, Lohan was charged with theft of a necklace that was reported stolen from a jewelry store. She was sentenced for community service and 120 days in jail for misdemeanor theft and probation violation.
In November 2012, Lohan starred as Elizabeth Taylor in a biographical television movie, Liz & Dick, which premiered on Lifetime. Her performance was slammed. Lohan was also featured in the horror comedy Scary Movie 5.
In March 2013, Lohan was sentenced to community service, psychotherapy, and lockdown rehabilitation due to her charges from her June 2012 car accident.
On March 9, 2014, Lohan’s reality show Lindsay will premiere
