Mila Kunis

Universal Pictures/Iloura

Mila Kunis is GQ Magazine’s 2011 Knockout of The Year. Thanks to her role in Friends With Benefits, the beautiful actress has admirers around the world. She recently attended the Marine Corps Ball after a YouTube video circulated of Marine Sgt. Scott Moore asking her to attend the event. Kunis accepted and followed through on her promise.

According to Wikipedia, Mila Kunis was born in the Ukraine on August 14, 1983 to Jewish parents Elvira and Mark Kunis. She has an older brother named Michael. The family moved to Los Angeles in 1991 because of the discrimination faced in the Soviet Union. The Kunis family won their Green Cards through a lottery system.

Kunis was seven years old when she arrived in California and spoke no English. She recalls the second grade as being very traumatic for that reason. At age nine, Kunis met her manager at acting classes after being enrolled by her father. She began appearing on television commercials and eventually landed a role on That 70s Show at age 14. Her first kiss ever was on the show with Ashton Kutcher. In 2001, Kunis switched to movies to build her career. During promotion of her movie with Timberlake, Kunis stunned reporters in Russia by speaking in fluent Russian.

In 2012, Kunis starred in Seth MacFarlane's Ted. Among her next big projects is Oz: The Great And Powerful.
