Neil Patrick Harris

Neil Patrick Harris has been in our hearts and our minds for a very long time. He started his career playing the ever popular, Doogie Howser, on Doogie Howser: MD. After MD ran its course, he had recurring parts on various shows as well as guest spots before getting his most impressive role to date, Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother.

Harris does manage to stay ever busy while on HIMYM. He has appeared in many movies including Starship Troopers, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, The Smurfs, as well as doing voice over work in the critically acclaimed film, Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Now, although he loves acting on both television and in film, he truly loves theatre. This is self evident in his various runs on Broadway in such billings as “Rent”, “Cabaret”, “Romeo and Juliet” and “Sweeny Todd.” With HIMYM wrapping up in the next couple years, he is hoping to get back to doing more films, theatre, and spending time with his two kids and partner, David Burtka.
