Rachel Bilson

Born August 25, 1981 in Los Angeles, Rachel Sarah Bilson is an American actress best known for her role as Summer Roberts in The O.C..

Bilson graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1999 and dropped out after her first semester of college to pursue a professional acting career. She scored several roles in commercials, and appeared on one episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. In 2003 Bilson was cast as series regular Summer Roberts in the prime-time drama, The O.C. Throughout her four seasons on the show, Bilson won several Teen Choice Awards and was featured in many "Hot 100" lists.

She scored her first film role in the romantic dramedy The Last Kiss also starring Zach Braff. Since the end of The O.C. Bilson had several guest appearances in popular television shows. In 2011 she starred in the CW show Hart of Dixie and launched a shoe line.

Bilson dated O.C. co-star Adam Brody from 2003-2006. She then began dating Hayden Christensen in 2007 and the two were engaged in 2008. They split up in 2010, but have since gotten back together.
