Margues Houston

Marques Houston was born on August 4, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. He began his musical career at an early age in the group Immature, which later matured to IMX. They recorded their first album, "On Our Worst Behavior" for Virgin Records in 1992. They released four albums before reincarnating themselves into IMX but the group had lost its appeal. Houston kept busy on the side of his music career, appearing on the hit 90s sitcom "Sister Sister" alongside actresses Tia and Tamara Mowry. Houston played cute but annoying neighbor Roger. After the show's end, Houston matured and went back to the studio to record his solo CD in 2003 with MH (Interscope). Naked followed in April of 2005. He has also taken on production duties with former IMx members (as Platinum Status) for B2K and Destiny's Child. Houston has continued to act, appearring in the feature film, "Fat Albert" and starring on the UPN series, "Cuts" with actress Shannon Elizabeth. He continues songwriting and producing work for artists such as Omarion, N2U, O'Ryan, Young Rome and had a cameo on a mix of 50 Cent's "Candy Shop."
