Nicolette Sheridan
Nicolette Sheridan was born on Nov 21, 1963 in Worthing, West Sussex, England. Her mother is British actress Sally Adams; her father has never been identified. She was also the step-daughter of late actor Telly Savalas, when he was married to Sheridan’s mother. During that time, she had half-brother, actor Nick Savalas.
She is best known for her work in primetime dramas. She made her Hollywood debut in 1984 on the series, “Paper Dolls." Sheridan played “Paige Matheson” on the popular CBS nighttime soap opera “Knots Landing.” In 1990, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Lead Actress: Prime Time for the role. The following year she won the Outstanding Heroine: Prime Time award. She currently plays “Edie Britt” on the popular ABC series, “Desperate Housewives.”
Sheridan had a six-year involvement with ex-teen idol Leif Garrett. She was married to actor Harry Hamlin from 1991 to 1993. Sheridan dated singer Michael Bolton. In January 2006, she announced her engagement to Swedish actor Nicklas Soderblom but the engagement was called off in October 2005. As of 2006, Sheridan and Bolton’s relationship had been rekindled and their engagement announced.
Sheridan was considered for the role of “Grace Adler” on NBC’s “Will & Grace,” but the role went to actress Debra Messing. In 2005, Sheridan was featured on the cover of “Maxim” magazine and named number 48 on its 2006 Hot 100 list.
