Frogs and French Kisses
by Sarah Mlynowski
The second book in the this trilogy about a teen witch and her non witch sister.
In this book, Rachel's sister Miri, who is a witch, casts a spell to save 50 cows from being slaughtered. Unfortunatly the cows end up in Rachel's school gym and cause a lot of damage, which ends up ruining the prom. Rachel gets her sister to cast another love spell on Raf, but it ends up backfiring, and the spell gets cast on his older brother Will. So now Will is in love with Rachel. Rachel doesn't mind this, but she still likes Raf more.
But she keeps the spell because he asked her to the prom, and she really wants to go. That is, if she and her friends can fix the gym. They need to raise a bunch of money.
Miri is getting out of hand with all her spells. She wants to save the whales, save the orphans, put out the fires, get rid of the oil spill. And their mother is also using spells now, and going overboard. She has 4 dates on one weekend alone. She used a spell to make her look prettier. She's been using spells for everything.
So Rachel must be the responsible one, as her mother and sister have gone a little nuts with the whole witch thing.
Can she save the prom, help her mother and sister, and get Raf back? All without using magic, because she isn't a witch!
I really enjoyed this sequel to . I cannot wait until the third book! I love this series!
