How unlikely is it for a professional woman, Claire Savage, and a previous rocker star, Luke Dawson to fall in love. Clair was once a beauty queen who now owns a motorcycle shop. She is on the finance board at her church. So when Luke shows up to help the youth in the church to become better and compete in music, she cannot believe someone would do it for free.
A magazine writer shows up to do an article on Claire, and Luke knows that this writer will do her no good. Claire only sees how the article will promote her new motorcycle. But later the writer comes back to get the dirt on Claire. To protect Claire, Luke goes to the writer and gives him his story as a well known former rocker. Even in protecting Claire, he almost throws away the things important to him -- Claire and the youth of the church.
I found this a book one has to keep reading. My mom, a pastor's daughter, married a professional gambler's son, so I know God can use opposites to bring together a good marriage. I like seeing how God has worked in both Claire's life and Luke's.
