Death of A Garage Sale Newbie
by Sharon Dunn
Bargain Hunters turns into clues for Murder
You'll laugh, you'll keep on reading and wonder what is up next. It demands your attention from page one.
A must fun read; delightful.
The characters are always looking for a good deal. I can relate to this as bargains, clearance and yard sales have been my way of life. The women form a bond and name themselves Bargain Hunters Network.
There is Giner, a mother facing empty nest; Kindra -- a college student; Suzanne -- pregnant with number four -- has three already; and Mary Margaret -- elderly real estate lady.
When one of their group ends up missing and is later found dead, the group finds clues she left behind in a basket of yard sale items. It is interesting to see how these items end up linking together, but it takes the whole book to get the whole story -- so it keeps you moving on.
The women left behind uncover bribery, greed and deception. They find the people behind Mary Margaret's death will stop at nothing to keep their secret safe.
Half way through you think you know who did it, but it won't be that one.
While the three retrace their steps, they come across Arleta who ends up joining up with them.
There is murder, danger and excitement from the beginning to end. There are unexpected happenings. You see love, friendship, and faith. You laugh, you cry and you spend a whole night reading the last half the book because you just have to know what comes next.
