Name Dropping

Nancy Stern is a single preschool teacher who receives flowers from a mysterious sender. Then she starts getting invitations for ritzy parties. While talking to her doorman she finds out that there is another Nancy Stern in her building. One that is far more important and famous than she is.

One evening she gets a phone call from a gentleman caller wanting to go on a blind date with her. Nancy knows that he called the wrong number, but she still accepts the date. While on the date, she pretends to be the other Nancy, the famous celebrity journalist one.

Nancy then starts to fall in love with him, but can't seem to tell him who she really is. So she goes through with this charade of pretending to be someone else.

But when the other Nancy gets murdered, the whole charade is up! Can this guy that Nancy, the teacher, is dating, handle that he was lied to?

This book has some pretty funny moments. It's a chick lit book, with some mystery, and murder. I love these kinds of books. And you will too.
