I've cried and cried through this book but yet I couldn't put it down. I've prayed with people who had children with cancer who died. I've held their hands, so to speak. To read about Dana's illness and the valley the whole family walked through has helped me through the valley and bitterness that I have been walking through because of surgery.
Janette's books have always been hard to put down and this is no exception. It will offer you hope as you read about Dana's struggles and how it affects the whole family; how each find their own way to deal with issues and all arrive at the same place in the end. They are all ready to let Dana go when the time comes.
I prayed with a family who had a son named Matt who died at 8 years of age. Imagine my surprise when I read about a boy named Matt who was 8 that Dana's life touched. I had written Janette and she had told me about this book before it was placed in my hand.
