Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking

by Malcolm Gladwell

A review of the process behind quickly made decisions.

Author Malcolm Gladwell provides an in depth review of how certain decisions are made, specifically those made in the Blink of an eye, to identify the why and how these particular types of quick, nonanalytical decisions are made.

The author relates, whether we are conscious of it or not, how we are able to use this quick thought process to make intuitive and sound judgments. Through given, real life descriptions, however, the opposite is also observed just the same, to show how, at times, this quick making decision method that is based on presumed inference can have unwanted consequences.

Besides Blink, Mr. Gladwell is also the author of The Tipping Point.
