The Stranger and Tessa Jones
by Christine Rimmer
This book is an excellent story line about amensia.
Asher cannot remember who he is or why he is driving along with a truck driver that picked him up along the road in a winter storm. He comes upon Tessa who is mad at her friend who was supposed to show up to take her to a wedding. As Asher encounters Tessa, he blacks out, and because the winter weather is getting so bad, she cannot get him to a doctor or hospital.
This story tells all the things that happen during Bill's (Asher) stay as he cannot remember who he is so chooses the name of the friend of Tessa's that didn't show up.
If you do not like sexual details, skip over it and you will still not lose the impact of the story because it is worth reading.
You keep pulling and hope that Bill, who is Asher, finds out who he is and what happened to him.
It is humorous as Tessa's uncle is the sheriff and how he brings all the uncles and dad and grandpa in and they accept Bill (Asher).
Some surprises you won't be expecting come along too in the story.
