Big Boned (A Heather Wells Mystery)
by Meg Cabot
The third Heather Wells Mystery book
In this third book, teen pop sensation Heather Wells tackles the recent graduate student union controversy at New York College head-on. Heather is paying her tuition by working at the college's Fischer Hall, a residence hall nicknamed Death Dorm after several recent murders. She's also dating a guy, Tad Tocco, her math professor, while pining for her neighbor and true love, Cooper. Cooper is a P.I., and her landlord.
When Fisher Hall's interim director, Dr. Owen Veatch, is murdered, Sebastian Blumenthal, a Graduate Student Collective protest leader, becomes the prime suspect.
Heather once again finds herself investigating the murder, and trying to prove that Sebastian is innocent. Which does not bode well with Cooper. He wants her to mind her own business, and not investigate this murder, like she did the last ones.
I enjoyed reading all three of the Heather Wells mysteries. Meg Cabot is a fantastic author of chick lit, and murder mysteries.
