Professional Posing Techniques for Wedding and Portrait Photographers
by By Norman Phillips
Take professional looking photographs with techniques from Norman Phillips.
Ever want to take professional pictures at family events like weddings and other parties? "Professional Posing Techniques for Wedding and Portrait Photographers" will teach you in a well illustrated full color book how to do so. It applies to digital and traditional film cameras. The book goes into great detail to discuss four different poses: the formal pose, the natural pose, the exaggerated pose, or a combination of the previous three. It then continues to detail positioning in terms of head, hands and arms and feet positions. It discusses standing poses, seated poses, and floor poses. My favorite section includes information on slimming techniques. Another great section discusses how to pose a group and it is separated into groups of two, three, four, five and larger groups. Finally the book goes into detail for wedding portraits, glamour portraits and freestyle posing. This book includes a large amount of useful information that I feel would benefit any photographer.
