I enjoy baking cakes but very often don’t because it can sometimes be very time consuming. "101 things To Do With A Cake Mix" by Stephanie Ashcraft makes it way too easy to bake beautiful cakes as well other baked goods such as bars, cookies, muffins and breads. Most of her recipes are cake recipes and they are separated
into three categories- fruity cakes, fancy cakes and bundt cakes. Some of my personal picks include Peach Cake, Caramel-Pecan Chocolate Cake and Banana Bundt Cake. The recipes are very easy to follow and often only need very few ingredients besides the cake mix. They are delicious as well. One of my favorite sections
is the children’s delights which is full of fun
recipes such as Delicious Dirt and Christmas-Rainbow Poke Cake.
What impressed me most about this book is the variety of baked goods the author produced. She is truly creative in inventing all these recipes. I had a good time just flipping through the pages discovering the various recipes and their ingredients. "101 Things to do with a Cake Mix" is not only an entertaining cookbook but one that produces delicious baked goods.
