Looking For A Moose

Have you ever been on a moose hunt?

Looking For A Moose' is an adorable take on the story and song- "I'm Going On a Bear Hunt." The intricate, catchy alliterated rhyming text will capture the reader and the listener. "Have you ever seen a moose- a long-leggy moose- a branchy-antler, dinner-diving, bulgy-nose moose?" The children in the story go off on a moose hunt. "We look in the woods- TROMP STOMP! TROMP STOMP!- the treesy-breezy, tilty-stilty, wobbly-knobbly woods."

Of course at the end of the story, not only do they find a moose, they find a herd of moose.

The cartoonish illustrations by Randy Cecil add to the whimsy of the story.

Children ages 3 to 7 will enjoy hearing this story retold over and over again.
