All For Pie Pie For All
by David Martin
Grandma Cat bakes a pie- a pie for all to enjoy.
Grandma Cat bakes an apple pie for her family. Everyone enjoys a delicious piece and then they all take a nap, as cats like to do. Soon the mouse family finds the last leftover piece and they too enjoy the apple pie, leaving nothing but crumbs.
Who should come along next- the ant family, and soon the crumbs were gone too.
Valeri Gorbachev illustrates this delectable story in ink and watercolors, creating a warm and cozy picture of family life.
The author was inspired for this book, when in her own house, a pie was baked and piece-by-piece it would seem to "magically" disappear.
This book would be enjoyed by ages 4 to 6.
