The Christmas Book of Hope

The Christmas Book of Hope is a religious Christmas story featuring Santa, elves and a missing book.

In the harsh winter of 1706, Timothy Smith wrote a letter to Santa Claus asking him to help his mom and dad get better. Santa asked one of his very wise old elves, Sol, to make a special gift for Timmy. So Sol wrote a book of hope for him. Unfortunately, the book somehow fell out of Santa's sack and was lost for years and years. The good news is that when Santa arrived at Timmy's house that year, Timmy's mom and dad were better and that was the best present he could receive.

Three hundred years later another little boy named Timothy Smith, once again, wrote a sad letter to Santa. This time Santa found the long lost book of hope and it was finally delivered to another Timmy.

This book spreads the good news about the power of prayer, the gift of hope and the magic of Christmas.

The illustrations by Frederick H. Carlson were done in graphite, watercolor and gouache, and add an ancient touch to this tale.'The Christmas Book of Hope' is just that- a spiritual book about the Christmas holiday. It's a book to be enjoyed every year by ages 4 and up.
