A kid sees Santa getting killed with a shovel. He panics, and prays that Santa comes back. So an angel is sent to bring Santa back to life. Too bad this angel is a little stupid. He ends up bringing 40 people back from the dead. Of course, Santa is not real. The person who died was Dale Pearson, a drunk who was dressed up like Santa. All sorts of weird things start happening.
Sorry kids for saying there is no Santa! According to this book there is none! I was shocked too! The first page of this book says that the book is not for kids, and not for grandparents, because of all the cussing, and morbid zombies coming back from the dead.
Only Christopher Moore can think up a book about Christmas, zombies, fruit bats, Santa, and crazy people! If you don't mind a book that is morbid, but funny, then you should read this crazy book. I kind of enjoyed it. It would be awesome if this got made into a movie. But then again, there are tons of zombie movies out there!
