Bergdorf Blondes
by Plum Sykes
Typical socialite book, about the rich blondes of the world.
The only reason I finished this book was because I wanted to find out what happened to all of the characters. If you are fascinated with them, want to be one, or just like reading books about them, then you will probably like this book. I did find some parts funny. And it is not the worst book that I have read.
This book is about a girl who wants to get married in the worst way. But her friend is the one who ends up getting engaged to a Jude Law look-alike. He has a terrible male ego, and ends up ending the engagement.
It is a funny novel, about ruthless, bored, shallow, rich, blonde heiresses. They think every problem can be solved with shopping and drinking. The main character is the only non-blonde in this book. And she is not as ruthless and shallow as her friends. I give this book a 6 because it could have been better. And also, because I do not really like rich, spoiled girls, nor do I like reading about them.
