Death Gets a Time Out

Juliet is a mother of two, and also a female P.I. She used to be a lawyer too. When she goes to a party and talks to her famous actress friend, she finds out that her step-brother got arrested and charged with murder. She wants her friend, Juliet, to help her prove that he didn't kill this person, or if he did, then help him so that he doesn't get the death penalty.
What Juliet discovers is not what she had in mind. She finds out that a murder that happened 30 years ago, may in fact be related. Lily, Juliet's actress friend, had killed her mother when she was 5 years old. But now, as information surfaces, Juliet thinks that maybe Lily didn't actually kill her real mother, and that maybe her therapist did, or he planted false memories.
I really enjoyed this book. It has a little of everything, motherhood, kids, murder, mystery, and suspense. This is by far one of the best murder mystery books that I have ever read, and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good mystery book.
