Clouds and Clocks

Clouds and Clocks, written by a medical doctor, reaches out to the child who is having a problem soiling his/her pants. Parents can use this book as a tool to talk to the child about this delicate and often embarrassing subject.
Andy lives with his mom, who is often working, and his Grandpa, who he adores. When the grandfather becomes ill and needs to be hospitalized, Andy's "accidents" begin to occur. His mom takes him to a doctor who calls the problem - soiling, and tells Andy he is not alone. He offers him some advice, which ultimately works, giving the reader some much needed hope.
The illustrations by M.S. Weber add the needed visual images to keep the young child listening to this awkward subject.
Clouds and Clocks would be a good addition to any Parenting section in a library and a wonderful resource for a parent needing help with this childhood problem.
