Howard Stern to join 'America's Got Talent'?


Howard Stern is being considered to replace Piers Morgan on America’s Got Talent.

Simon Cowell, the show’s creator and executive producer, confirmed that he is considering Stern to sit alongside judges Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne, although the final decision is not his.

“There’s a lot of people who make decisions on this stuff. Money’s got to work, schedules got to work. There might be a few twists and turns still,” Cowell said.

Last year Piers Morgan took over Larry King's CNN duties, replacing Larry King Live with Piers Morgan Tonight. But now it looks like it's Morgan's turn to move over.

Reuters reported the 46-year-old TV personality is leaving his judging duties on NBC's America's Got Talent to focus more on his CNN show and covering the 2012 presidential election.

The comic book, which will retail for $3.99, will chronicle Stern's rise to fame, and the unique and no-holds barred style he brought to broadcasting, as well as his move to Sirius satellite radio in 2006.

British talk show host Piers Morgan announced on his CNN show Wednesday night that he will no longer be a judge on NBC’s America’s Got Talent.

"I've been a judge since the show began six years ago, and I've loved every single second," Morgan told his audience, according to CNN. He thanked all those involved in the show, especially his “great friend” Simon Cowell “for giving me such a wonderful opportunity on that amazing show."

Piers Morgan announced Wednesday that he’s leaving his post on the NBC talent show America’s Got Talent.

He plans to focus on his CNN show Piers Morgan Tonight. Morgan does not wish to work on two big shows simultaneously.

“I am going to focus on what will be a huge year at CNN,” Morgan said. He added, jokingly, that this new, lighter schedule may allow him to host the Academy Awards, if he’s asked to do so.

Piers Morgan has just announced that he will no longer be apart of America’s Got Talent, as he has decided to focus on his own show as well as the coverage for the 2012 presidential election.

Morgan has been a judge on the panel since the beginning of the show six years ago, but now that there’s a vacant seat open on the judging table alongside Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne, there are reports of someone else coming into the picture.
