Chelsea Clinton’s contributions to NBC News' "Making a Difference" series have not been well-received by critics and she may be on her way out after her 90-day contract with the television network expires.

For years, Chelsea Clinton has grown up under the shadow of her political parents, but now she’s making a name for herself as an NBC News correspondent.

Reuters reported Bill and Hilary Clinton’s daughter made her debut Monday night on Nightly News and the network’s new news magazine, Rock Center.

The 31-year-old was hired to cover the shows’ “Making a Difference” segments, which spotlight an American organization or individual doing good deeds often while battling their own hardships.

Last Saturday night in Los Angeles, celebrities and stars attended A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 years of the William J. Clinton Foundation. The event also doubled as the former presidents 65th birthday, which was actually on August 19th.

Special performer of the night, Lady Gaga, chose to use some less than appropriate language in front of the former President of the United States.

Former President Bill Clinton’s foundation will be celebrated 10 years after its establishment in a Los Angeles concert that will feature such superstars as Lady Gaga, The Edge, Bono and Usher.

The event, which will take place on October 15, will be called "A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation," according to CBS News.

Folk opera based on Bill Clinton to debut this weekend

Five years in the making, former President Bill Clinton’s folk opera will debut in New York City this weekend. The opera will follow Clinton’s childhood in his hometown of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

According to Reuters, the opera will be based on a day in the life of Clinton as a teenager. While reading Clinton’s autobiography, Arkansas musician Bonnie Montgomery couldn’t help but notice that his childhood had all of the elements of a dramatic opera.

Bill Clinton in 'Hangover 2'? Maybe not

During the making of the upcoming Todd Phillips film The Hangover 2, the sequel to the super successful epic The Hangover, word on the street was that Bill Clinton filmed a cameo.

People reported last November that the former president shot his brief appearance in Bangkok. Clinton was expected to play himself in the sequel.

Clinton was in Bangkok to give a speech at the time, and they met up with him and discussed the cameo.
