Kirstie Alley made her presence known as the wildly attractive bar manager on the classic sitcom, Cheers, but her image quickly turned sour after she gained a large amount of weight a few years ago.

She became a laughingstock for late night talk shows and comedians who smothered the actress with numerous weight jokes, but now it appears that Alley may have the last laugh.

Kirstie Alley has a new reality show. She may also have a new daughter-in-law.

The former Cheers star went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday to plug The Big Life and announced that her son, True Stevenson, was getting married.

True is 17.

Alley said her son has been dating for over a year, and that she supports his decision.

"I feel good because they're really in love. True's got a level head. He's a good guy. He's very monogamous, and he's very sweet with her,” she said.

Almost every show has one, whether they’re a comedy, drama, or science fiction, though it’s often the comedy shows that have the most memorable hangout settings, thanks to these places’ abilities to let the characters relax and go wild with their best one-liners. These places aren’t the places where the main characters lived, and, though a few are workplaces, these aren’t the places where the characters simply made a living, either.
