Cheryl Cole finally breaks silence about 'X Factor' dismissal

In a blog post on Sunday, Cheryl Cole finally broke the silence regarding her ouster as a judge for The X Factor.

The pop singer reassured her fans that she was doing just fine after her dismissal and is actually enjoying some of her time off.

“I have had the time that I have not had in so long to just chill with my loved ones and do the normal things that I like to do,” the blog post read. “It feels long overdue and sooooo good, even my feet are happy to not have to wear a pair of high heels.”

Former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole reached out to Paula Abdul by sending her flowers on Friday.

Abdul tweeted, “Gorgeous flowers from a gorgeous girl. Sweet friend... love you #Chezza thank you so much! :)) xoP #CherylCole.”

She tweeted the following day, “me in pink @Leannemarshall_ dress from @theXfactorusa #NJ holding the flowers #CherylCole gave me- she's such a class act.”
